Compensating and extension grades of wire are supplied in bright-annealed condition. Extension and compensating cable provide convenient, economic solutions.
Extension grade wire is a less expensive, lower grade wire. Extension grade Conductors have a working temperature range from 0°C to 200°C.
Compensating grade wire is a type of thermocouple wire that uses a different composition of alloys. Compensating grade wire is made from cheaper alloys than extension cable. Compensating grade Conductors have a working temperature range from 0°C to 100°C.
In case of KCA temperature range is up to 0°C to 150°C.
