Finned tubular heaters, which combine rugged tubular heating elements with metallic fins, provide a high degree of heat transfer for use in air and gas heating applications. Finned tubular heaters have continuous metallic fins that are brazed, crimped, or welded onto a protective sheath containing a nickel chromium resistance heating element positioned concentrically inside of a high-purity magnesium oxide insulation material. The addition of fins creates a larger heat dissipation surface area. This results in improving transfer speeds, increasing wattage output, and decreasing the overall surface temperature of the elements; extending their useable life. Finned tubular heaters can operate effectively up to 750°C and can be fabricated into complex configurations to meet a variety of industrial applications. With UL, IEC, ATEX, CE and CCOE certification, Tempsens also provides heating systems that comply with stringent requirements of many global quality standards.
