Mica Strip Heater

Strip Heaters are an outstanding industrial heating product and are extremely effective in surface heating applications. Mica Strip heaters are suitable for low to medium temperature heating requirements. They are composed of a nickel chromium resistance ribbon, uniformly wound on specially selected mica strip to provide uniform heat distribution. The winding is insulated using high grade mica of appropriate thickness to provide excellent thermal conductivity and dielectric strength. The mica assembly is embedded in a stainless steel sheath which provides high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures as high as 650°C. Mica Strip heaters offers a wide variety of termination options and are available with or without mounting tabs. They can also incorporate holes and cut-outs to meet special requirements.
