Einführung
A furnace setpoint does not tell the complete thermal story.
The Tempsens Thermal Profiling System records temperature at multiple points on the actual product, load or process as it travels through a furnace, oven or kiln. Thermocouple probes measure the process, the SmarTrack Data Logger records the profile, a Thermal Barrier protects the logger from the surrounding heat, and SmarTrack Software converts the recorded data into clear, traceable process information.

Über das Wärmeprofilierungssystem
See the Process Beyond the Furnace Setpoint
In industrial heating processes, the programmed furnace temperature and the temperature actually experienced by the product can be very different. Load size, component geometry, line speed, furnace loading, airflow and product position can influence heating and cooling behavior.
Thermal profiling records temperature against time throughout the production cycle, helping engineers understand:
- How quickly the product heats
- Maximum and minimum temperatures reached
- Time spent within a specified temperature band
- Whether the required thermal cycle has actually been achieved
- Heating and cooling rates
- Temperature differences between measurement points
- Process uniformity
Five steps from sensor to report
1 Position sensors
Attach thermocouples to critical product points.
2 Connect logger
Connect channels to SmarTrack.
3 Protect the logger
Place it inside the selected thermal barrier.
4 Run the process
The system travels through the actual furnace, oven or kiln.
5 Analyse
Download or monitor data and evaluate the cycle.
