- The vacuum sintering furnace is suitable for operating temperature of 1000 deg C.
- The hot zone chamber size of the furnace is 200 mm x 200 mm x 200 mm ( H x W x D).
- TiO2 Granules of Size 6-10 mm is sintered inside the furnace at 1000 Deg C with vacuum of 10-4 mbar.
- The vacuum chamber shell is made of Stainless Steel (SS304) material of cylindrical shape with thickness of 6 mm.
- The SS chamber is front loading type with water jacketed flange for cooling.
- The pumping system consists of diffusion pump, rotary vane pump, nitrogen trap etc.
- The working vacuum inside the chamber is 2 X 10-4 mbar at temperature of 1000 Deg C in empty & dry condition within 6 hours.
- The vacuum measurement will be done though digital penning & pirani gauge.
- The leak rate of the system is better than 1X10-9std.cc/sec.
- The temperature is controlled through PID programmable controller with N type duplex sensor.
- All the system components are housed in the front panel for mounting of gauges, pump and switches & emergency button.
- Water chiller system of 10 Ltr capacity is also supplied with the system.
