Robust miniature pyrometer

The Edge Micro is a high-precision infrared pyrometer that can detect temperatures between -40 and +1100 °C. This pyrometer is designed especially for uses requiring low temperature readings.

The connection cable of the pyrometer is equipped with an embedded controller and a miniature sensing head. The little sensor can operate continuously at temperatures as high as 120 °C. The Edge Micro unit has a robust housing combined with a very small mechanical footprint, gives it a high degree of parameterization and set-up options as well as support for many electrical connectors.

Its versatility makes it adaptable for many uses: machine construction, industrial automation, manufacturing operations, and quality assurance. The compact infrared pyrometer can be integrated as an OEM into machines/systems and is capable of measuring the temperature of objects to 1100 °C.

The Edge Micro is well suited to large scale manufacturing and series applications, due to its excellent price/performance ratio. By separating the sensing point from signal processing, provides for more accurate/stable measurements under extreme industrial conditions or at extremely high temperatures and by housing the controller within the cable, allows for a significant reduction in space required.
