Flanges

Flanges are round connectors used to join pipes or equipment together, secured with bolts. They have surfaces where gaskets fit to create a seal and prevent leaks. Different types include Raised Face (RF), where the gasket surface is slightly raised, Ring-Type Joint (RTJ), which uses a metallic gasket for high pressure, and Flat Face (FF), where the gasket surface is flat. Each type provides a different method of sealing based on the application.
